Hi! I'm Avery, the jeweler behind Avery Nicole Jewelry.

I specialize in handmade fine jewelry, bespoke bridal, and one-of-a-kind artisan pieces that celebrate craftsmanship and meaningful design. Every piece is created by my hands in my Salt Lake City studio using traditional metalsmithing techniques, with a focus on quality, longevity, and thoughtful details.

Jewelry has always felt like more than an accessory to me. It's something that marks life's biggest moments, tells a story, and becomes part of someone's everyday life. Whether I'm creating an engagement ring, a wedding band, or a one-of-a-kind artisan piece, I love knowing that what I make will be worn and cherished for years to come.

My path into jewelry wasn't exactly traditional. After earning my degree in psychology and working in pharmaceutical research, I realized my heart was calling me somewhere else. I took a leap of faith, left my career behind, and pursued being a jeweler full-time—a decision that completely changed my life.

Since then, I've continued refining my craft through advanced fine jeweler training and countless hours at the bench, learning traditional fabrication and stone-setting techniques that allow me to create heirloom-quality jewelry built to last.

Creating with my hands also feels like a way of honoring my family's legacy. After retiring, my great-grandfather discovered a passion for lapidary work, spending his time cutting and polishing gemstones. My grandfather was a metal fabricator who built everything from boat trailers and gates to large custom metal projects. I'd like to think I get to carry on a little bit of both of their crafts—just on a much smaller scale. Every piece I make brings together a love of metal and stone, transforming raw materials into something meaningful that can be treasured for generations.
